[SOLVED] (see you next year) Mobile app broken (Same symptoms like last year)

- Suddenly after yesterday's maintenance can't view my activity tabs, forums etc on mobile.
It's stuck "verifying login info.." forever. Only chat works.

Restart doesn't matter
I won't relogin cause this happens every year and people who relogged couldn't log back in when this issue occurs.

EDIT: This solution didn't work for me but it might for you:

All you need to do is download from the google play store:

Android System WebView

Once its installed restart your phone then login to your steam happy trading!!!!!!

Please let me know if this has helped anyone else or i'll delete this post if it hasnt this should fix future problems as well.

My patience is running thin with this crappy app to be honest.
On top of the same issue every year. There are other bugs and problems with the app that actually never got fixed.

But ofc i am forced to use it if i want to trade or buy things from market ..
No other way around this.

Can confirm that it's been a thing since 2017. I got the Steam mobile app since 2012 and never got issues with the button functionality until that year. Also, this time it got fixed the quickest surprisingly.
