App video playback setup
When using my android app with a smartphone, the the Steam app has no way to turn off the any video playback. It also has no sound until I select to turn it up, and this is the same on Windows PC. I spend lots of internet data bytes just browsing to the publisher or developer store when I just need the info about the game. In a best use case, it would be nice to see the video on a tab or some where off the main info graph and sale bin because I could browse more and save my data to chat, or review.

One idea is to just put a player over top the page using some ajax, jquery, or PHP or something. Something that backgrounds the store page on click of something, and played over layering the store. I don't have any websites to refer to right now, but I know of some that even lock down the site from download of anything. It's actually safe from theft. Found it on a tutorial cd I bought. Could send it to the beta development team. If they want.

There is a checkbox in the store page videos itself to turn off auto play for the trailers. To the right of the volume slider.

For the live streaming videos, at the bottom here...

Did you not know already that it's not save? However, the suggestion is a temporary fix.
