Lenovo A916 won't turn on
I know this isn't really a place to do it, but I need to fix this so I can access steam on my phone. For a second, both my PC and phone lost wifi range, so I decided to reboot my phone. After clicking reboot I tried to fix my PC wifi, but it came back, so I ignored the phone. After few minutes wanted to check something on my phone, but it wouldn't turn on at all. Tried the volume up down and stuff, tried charging for an hour, can't seem to get the hard reset etc. to work as well. The phone won't vibrate, it's like a brick. Also tried to pull out the battery, but nothing. Any suggestions? Maybe I tried the hard reset in a wrong way and that's why it didn't work? (connecting to phone, holding different button combinations and the connecting to PC) Any help?

You should try putting new battery in it. Maybe just battery died.

If that doesn't works there's one more thing you can try.
Because Lenovo A916 uses MTK Chipset, your can try flashing ROM with SP Flash Tool.
Good thing about MTK devices is that it doesn't requires booting to Recovery or Bootloader/Download mode/Odin mode, or whatever it's called on other devices to flash ROM.

You just click Download on your PC and plug in turned off phone.
If somehow some partitions required for phone to boot got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, this will fix it.

If your phone doesn't gives any signs of life when you try to flash ROM, then it's probably gone.

About the battery, i think its this, i realised that when i plug the phone to my pc, it detects it, disconnects it and keeps doing that, as if the battery had some life left but not enough to boot it up, can I try with a batteyr from a different phone, for example sony? my brother has one so I could try that if its possible, if not I will research and try the flashing rom thing
