Steam guard if I factory reset my phone.

Greetings. It's been like 1 and a half year since I factory reseted my phone, by that time I have activated steam guard on my Galaxy S7. It's running quite slow now and really need to factory reset it now. Would there be any kind of problem with Steam Guard if I do that? Like I wouldn't be able to use it anymore or even access my account.

Steam guard is an application set on your phone number, so that means, even If you do reset your phone, you can recover your steam guard, by using your phone number ( the one which you've added to your steam account ). Hope I've helped.

Backup Steam app with Titanium Backup [play.google.com] and then just restore backup to new device.
No 7 days trade ban, no need to reset authenticator. You just open Steam app and everything is already configured same as on old phone (plus you keep your chat history)

You can transfer your authenticator to your new phone/current phone if you still have access to the phone number. The effect of this on your trade/market is 2 days hold (for the first 2 days), after the first 2 days, you will no longer have any restrictions/holds.

So what you're saying is if I tranfer my mobile authenticator to a new phone aftet 2 days I can trade and buy items on the market?
