Android back button
Many android apps have an option to disable app exit or not via back button. My experience is that most apps suspend on the back button, but steam is one of a handful that don't, although I'm not understanding the use case for not suspending on the back button in the steam app scenario or role.

I'm also not finding a way to search a forum on mobile, it always searches entire steam discuss, no way to focus or filter unless my phone screen is too small for the css to make the control I thought is there visible. The Android back button setting I am just not finding though.

Same here. Whenever i search for the same item in market but look for a different price, i have to go back to the main page of steam market and retype thename of the item again. Exhausting.

Were you able to solve this? Where is the back button in steam app android?

There is no back button in the mobile app. It was never there because the phones own back button takes care of that function.

Your best option is to use a browser on your phone and open new tabs to preserve the place in the previous tab when going back and forth.

My issue, was that "back" should background the activity the user started when that activity is the only activity running, basically back is the same as exit in most apps, but the team Valve subcontracted possibly had special ideas or the launch/default intent's events are perhaps not wired correctly.
