Mobile iDEAL payment not working

In October, I wanted to buy a game via my steam mobile app using iDEAL, which is the way Dutch banks allow for easy online bank payments, but it seemed not to be working, when I tried to select it as a payment method, the app said it was "temporarily unavailable", but it's been that way for 2-3 months now. I do realise I can just buy games on my computer, but that's just skipping the issue, and that takes longer. Has anyone also had this for such a long time? How can I fix this? Steam Support doesn't seem to have a page dedicated to this problem, or even mentioning it

Hey again,

I'm an iDEAL user aswell and i had the same problem. It is due to do with a bug in the app.
I recommend using the Steam website on your phone. This will fix the issue.

It will bypass the issue not fix it. But thanks was looking for a answer. Might as well dump the app again.

Yep, still an issue. Can we get a fix for this at some point? It's ridiculous how long this has been going on for.

After googling I found out it has been a problem since 2013....... they will never ever fix it is my guess too. Oh and not only on mobile I get it on browser and in steam desktop aswell.....
