I can't log in to steam because I don't have access to mobile authenticator

Hello. I'm currently logged into steam because I was already logged in to the steam client before my phone was stolen and I still am. Basically, my phone got stolen and it's the only device that has steam mobile authenticator logged on to it. Therefore, if I try to remove steam mobile authenticator, it will ask me for the recovery code which I just didn't write down because I'm stupid. Therefore, there is no way for me to log in. Is there anyway I can talk to steam or get it back another way? Thanks.

I'm sort of like that too, but instead of my phone getting stolen, I factory resetted it without checking my Recovery Code and then sold the phone :(

No, I'm still with no phone and I will be for a few months. When I do have my phone, is there a way?

Well if it has the same number that your steam account is linked to then you can get a recovery code through text message.

I got the recovery code through email, but I was asked for my Steam Mobile Authenticator Recovery Code anyway, which I just don't have? Is there anyway I could open up a ticket/send an email to Steam Support?

Yes, there is. Head to http://help.steampowered.com/, select "My account" option and choose what best fit your problem on the following screens. This way, you'll be able to contact the Steam Support and recover your account.

And, please, once you have access to your account and the management of Steam Guard again, PLEASE write down your recovery code; you wouldn't need any of this hassle if you had done it before.

You can just create another account to contact the support. Don't forget to tell them what is the account you're having trouble with, and they'll instruct you further.

Steam is trash dude, imma see if I can find a way to sue because this is BS I didn’t turn on that author bs so it must be automatically applied without my knowledge. Definitely going to find out more with a lawyers help
