Steam app still not able to see reviews and screenshots
Bug report.

I posted about this maybe a month or two ago but I couldn't find my thread. This has been an issue for that amount of time.

Using the Steam Mobile App I can't see reviews and I can't access screenshots. This is an issue with both my Kindle Fire and my Samsung phone.

I am able to see the reviews and screens if I open up the store page in the Silk Browser and Chrome Browser, so it's an issue with the App itself or something with my configuration on both devices.

Please help. It's inconvenient to have to sign into my web browser to see my wishlist and etc. when I am exploring games.

They are working on a mobile update at the moment. Hopefully it will be resolved with that...?

I do not have this issue on my Galaxy S8 (Nougat) or HTC 626s (Marshmallow).

Steam Support came back with this message:

There are a few resolution steps that work for most people:

• Make sure Steam is running the most recent version, and restart Steam.
• Delete the web browser cache (there is a button for this in the Steam client, under Settings (Preferences for Mac) > Web Browser).
• For Windows, if the above didn't help, disable DirectWrite (in Steam, under Settings, then Interface).
• Restart Steam after any of the above.

Yeah me either.

I'm thinking these are instructions for the desktop app. I've turned my ticket back to them.

Even clearing you phones caches did not help?

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with the app, I even have the problem with google chrome app. it's the store page that has a compatibility issue with mobile browsers.

This is the new response.

If you are experiencing problems with the Steam Mobile App, check the following:
Make sure your device has the most recent OS update.
Check the requirements of the Steam Mobile App for your OS and make sure your device meets those requirements.
Check that your Steam Mobile App is up-to-date. Update the Steam Mobile App in your phone's app store, or download directly to your phone at this link: Setup Guide.

Please note: Disabling, fully reinstalling, or clearing data for the app will reset your Authenticator.

We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection when installing the app.

and this won't help either, they think it's the device and OS problem but not from the store page lol i'm using the latest app update and everything was working fine and Suddenly this bug happened, the PC version works fine tho,
i hope that they will fix it soon :I
