No authentication pop up on Galaxy A5 (2017)

All notifications settings are enabled in Steam app and phone settings. Right now, I have to open up the Steam app manually and then I can get the code. Authenticator worked fine on my previous phone. Anyone else have that same problem with this phone or with Samsung phones in general?

i had that problem with my iphone 6+ but after i re installed the app it worked try re installing the app.
