fandoms playing online

what are your thoughts or opinions of people associated im fandoms like furries, homestuck, anime, my little pony, pokemon ect. in online games. does it make gaming a better or worse experience for you or others? should fandoms be stricted to their own servers or have freedom to play anywhere. do fandoms affect the way you play games?

i find some fandoms bad due to ppl forceing s*** down ether ppls thorts but some of the ppl in those fandomes are ok ppl

The only thing that bothers me are obnoxiouns people, and they are everywhere. Bronies, Furries, Otakus, Sports fans...
I have nice fandom friends.
The problem is in the person, not in his fandom. A obnoxious Furry would be equally obnoxious if he was a sports fan.

I don't have any problems with fandoms, being a brony myself. But some people just force their fandoms on people who aren't interestet, thus annoying said people.

Every fandom has their share of loud and obnoxious people, and sadly enough they get noticed the most. So when a person in-game claims to be a brony or otaku or whatever, don't judge them based on the fandom, judge them as you would any other player.

If someone is forcing it down my throat I am against it. But overall, I think it makes a much more diverse and intresting community amongst all steam gamers. I'm not a furry, but because I have had so many friendships involving furries I have taken up some habits from them. Just like my anime friends I take up intrest in particular animes that I would have never even be introduced to if it wasnt for them. Brony's are by far the worset. always announcing 'hey look at me i like MLP' when no one really cares that much to begin with Its more or less the people that take up the intrests than it is the intrests it self that ruins or makes gaming more fun.
