To all the people uploading anime gifs and meme pictures to random game hubs
It's not funny. It's annoying. Cut it out. And I'm gonna start reporting every one of these images that I see.

If you REALLY wanna display these images on your profile (though I have no idea why you would, this is a GAMING community and service, if you want image sharing go to tumblr or ♥♥♥♥♥ or something like that), just put a text file or non steam game into your library and upload your images to that.

It's not that I care about the rules so much or anything like that, I just really, really, really don't wanna see unfunny meme garbage from ♥♥♥♥♥ or gifs of some generic flavor of the month anime chick every time I click the hub of a game I like. Just because the hub is inactive doesn't mean that no one plays the game and that you have an excuse to treat it like your personal DeviantArt or Tumblr page.

So please, stop.

*edit* how the heck is a certain website starting with "4" and ending with a Japanese honorofic censored?

I've gotten at least 30 or so images removed. Bring forth the hordes of darkness, I shall report them.

Okay i admit, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=175555674 this made my day. :D
But that's actually related to the game. Therefore it's fine.

God you gotta be kidding me. :D

I don't see why that isn't correct. If it remains inside the game's respective artwork section it should be fine. The skill of the author shouldn't determine the validity of the work, nor its right to be displayed on the game's hub. The guy could be the next Picasso as far as I'm concerned.

Stop being butthurt
As Matt said, we should take down content that does not belong in the game hub.

You should report artwork that is uploaded and unrelated to the game.

Stop being butthurt
*if this was directed at me

I'm not. I'm listening to some cool vidya game musics now and eating a sandwhich.

The question is...are you?
Butthurt in what way :3

So what? You upload something that isn't game related..You honestly are attempting to report 85% of the steam artwork input? Just get over it kids, get yout butthurt out of here and continue with your sad existance somewhere else.
You don't get it, do you? Doing this is only allowed if the picture is friends-only permitted.

Since when was that a rule, since when were there rules.
You should know that the artwork section for a game is not made for you to submit irrelevant pictures. As Matt said,

Wish I cared what he said.
Well, that's life. First off: The moderators are always right. Second: The moderators are ALWAYS right.
Steam, a website run by a major video game company.

"Since when were there rules?"

Ha ha ha. Yeah, that's totally crazy that there are rules on a website/gaming service that Valve is constantly pumping money into.

Also to be honest, I don't really care about rules. I just personally find this meme crap annoying as hell. And I made this thread as a warning because I don't wanna see people getting their accounts muted or lose posting privileges when I report them. Because I will be reporting any of this stuff I stumble across. I don't care if I can't get rid of it all, because I don't care. As long as I don't have to look at it in MY hubs I'll be satisfied.

So cut it out. Like I said, you have plenty of options for getting your artwork on Steam without cluttering up random hubs.

One alternative is to make it friends only.
Yes. Or like I said, put a non steam program in your steam library. Paste your images into there, and upload them. Simple.

Or just make em friends only, since most of these people are just uploading them for ther 100+ friends who all immediately rate it up so it ends up at the top of the hub.
These anime gifs and pics belong on 4chan or 9gag or some other anime site to be honest.
You're literally the worst kind of person.
