how can i trade on steam from Iran?
as you know because of sanctions against Iran,Iranians like me can't do any international transactions from Iran.
steam limited it's tradings to personals who has active trnsactions on their accounts,As a result I can't do any tradings.
Is there any way to solve this?
I'm buying my games through one of my friends in UAE,he buys for me and send to me as steam gifts.

Market transactions require the account to have made a purchase within the last year, I wasn't aware that the same applied to trading.
If you own a game on Steam (and you do), then you should be able to trade. What error message do you get?
AFAIK trading doesn't require purchases like the Market does. Restrictions on password/email changes still applies.

Word of advice: whatever you're considering DON'T think about using a VPN. Never.
Your account could be locked.

This isn't trading, this is buying and selling. You trade in the chat window with the person you want to trade with.

Just be aware that it violates the SSA and your account could be permanently locked.
