Whats Your Download Speed for Steam Games?

I recently upgraded my network and now I download steam games at 5-8MB/s.

MIne usually peaks around 3.9mb/s but it's almost always a constant 3.7mb/s. I have Time Warner (whom sucks!) and have the Extreme package. 30mb down and 5mb up.

usually I'll be able to download at 2-3mb/s, sometimes as high as 6mb/s, but occasionally it drops down to a crawl (<1mb/s) :/ anyone know why this happens?

i get an average of 6mbps when i dont limit it but i had a speed test for my internet expecting it to get the correct value of 20 mbps(comcast/xfinity) but somehow i have 50 0.0
and the highest i get is 7.5 which is a great speed and comfortable on how fast i get games installed.

Cause someone in your house or even yourself might be using alot of bandwith or downloading something else also off the same network. Maybe

lol yeah me too actually. I have comcast and a 20mbps download plan but on speedtest.net I get like 50+mbps down!
