The worst part is that they keep putting the same games in the daily deals.
And there have been some terrible games up there. Especially some of the "community" votes.
Euro Truck 2013 sim? Really???
And this current vote, all DLC for F2P mmos.
Terrible.
I was hoping for more indie bundles or what not.
Also.. *most* of the steam prices were "about the same" as other sources (amazon/greenman) during their sales) but steam had a larger variety, much more then say amazon did. Most games were on sale, you just had to look past the front page. I agree with you about the repeats were annoying and the lack of publisher packs, and that there could have been more bundles, but I got a ton of good deals on single games I had been holding out on (Witcher series/ Fallout 3 - New Vegas / Portal 2)
I got back into PC gaming around the holiday sale and other sites typically beat the Steam prices as well. Just hunt around for the best prices. As long as you're getting the games cheap, I'm not sure why you care lol.
