Why doesn't steam have Warcraft 3

If steam had Warcraft 3 and the frozen throne expansion as well it would open a hole other style of game play and modding look at the game maps such as D.O.N or FoC there are thousands of people that are into there own game mods. The fact that they are no longer making these games new should be a opportunity steam to get the rights to seal it.

Blizzard is a very closed company and doesn't allow their products to be sold digitally outside of their system.

ok in New Zealand you cant get these game any more and blizzard doesnt have cards like steam does i mean to say not many 18 year old with a credit card would want to buy a game that they could have got with cash or some form of pre pay card.

but what doesnt make sense is that blizzard and activision have merged together but i dont think activision has yet been a publisher of a blizzard game thats maybe why too

Activision's influence on Blizzard has been more in how they roll out their games, and their features. At least it seems that way. And it also seems like the two sides aren't exactly bonding. It's a strange marriage. The company that owns them both actually tried to offload them but people didn't want it as long as Activision was attached.
