Titanfall - Steam or Origin?

So I just saw gameplay of Titanfall by Respawn entertainment. First of all, I must say I'm quite amazed that it's actually using the Source engine developed by Valve.

However, I can easily see a big conflict here. The game is published by EA but uses the Source engine developed by Valve. Will the game be on Steam (because of the fact the game uses Valve's Source engine) or will the game be on Origin (because of the fact that EA's the publisher) or will they be on both and if so, will Steam and Origin players be able to play together?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that TitanFall will be available on PC so the question is technically valid.

It will come to Origin. The beta will come on Origin. I'm sorry guys. You have to install Origin just like I did for BF3 :(

Several games are on both (Steam and Origin). Examples: Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise, Burnout Paradise, Medal of Honor, Mirror's Edge, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising and so on.

Once the game it started, the servers are the same (when they are online), so it doesn't matter how you bought or launched the game: it is the exact same game across both platforms.

You don't *have* to play the game, just like how I've abstained from playing the last 3 Need for Speed games (complete shame, really, but then again, far too much DLC in the new games).

im pretty sure this game never see steam,wich is sad because is a semi good game.
at least they brought it to the pc

It will be a console port as usual though probly with little support for the PC as the console market is alot bigger for games like that so I will be buying it on console.

I don't think it will be on Steam. Its one of those few face saving titles both for Microsoft & EA.

Xbox and Origin will be owned badly by PS and Steam respectively if it wasn't for these big exclusive titles.

Beta was amaze balls.

Battlefield's success has shown Steam isn't required to have a successful multiplayer PC game. Titanfall will do just fine requiring Origin and not being available on Steam.

Can't wait for March 11th!

Actually those are all published by Valve. The first thing you see in all of those games is the Valve software ad. I'm surprised that EA is using source considering the engine hasn't been anything special in years. Not to sound critical, but that engine is 10 years old and has not really evolved all that much.

Origin really sucks, as much as EA sucks. And personally I love to hate EA, and my experience with Origin has been nightmare. I hate this thing, it is nothing more but a pathetic spyware created by EA, and more than often has ruined happy times when trying to play ME3 with other people.
For that reason only I am really demotivated to trow cash at those bastards, and will not buy Titanfall.
If it was on Steam with Steam Workshop support and no crappy, pulled out of their a$$es DLC gimmicks, I might give it second though, otherwise:
F**k you EA, nothing personal Respawn.
To the people my message is:
If you are about to buy this game NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER PRE - ORDER when EA is at hand. Wait a bit and see what happens. EA has the habit of ruining parties.
