So as long as there are gaming companies on PC then no.
Graphics-wise, no need to worry. In like 2-3 years, pc games look much better than next gen consoles.
Objection on quality titles.
Sure, half life is nice, but if that is your only pc treasure. Then I seriously pity pc gamers.
Opinions, every has it. I can as easily say the only thing that was ever good on the console was uncharted and the rest was utter jank. See I can have opinions too.
Just look at all these games > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games
And this isn't just all. There are countless of games. And a huge variety of genres. When you look at PC gaming, all I can see is call of duty, call of duty, hey. a cute cartoonish call of duty, call of duty, call of duty and more call of duty!! MOSTLY SHOOTERS!!!
Most of those games are already on pc and if they are not they are likely some japanese JRPG nonsense.
Also all I saw was crappy sports games such as NBA, NHL, TIger Woods golf etc and about 50 variants of Rockband.
I would give you a list of pc games, but no servers can handle it. List is so big with so much variety that it would crash the Valve server.
We are still here during the consoles.
We will be here after the consoles.
I always love how the PC/Consoles dilemma is always presented as a dichotomy. When in the real world, they overlap pretty much. PC gaming does not forbide one to playing on a console and viceversa.
If PC and console market were to worry about something, it would be about Mobile Gaming. And that's a field where consoles have far more to lose than PCs (Specially portable consoles)
Nah I rather help find the cure for cancer by letting my high powered do protein folding. I like long walks on the beach and enjoying the sights of nature. Your outlook on humanity seems quite grim and offensive, you should see a doctor.
Deleting your post won't do anything, I already quoted them.
No, that's illegal. I can see how technologically uninformed console users that knows nothing about pc can make that assumption though. No offense taken.

Come back and tell me how it's a lie :)
I would provide a more scholarly source, but it's not appropriate in a layman discussion. Not to mention it may confuse you.
