I already put answers and the answers is no. It will not come to steam. Steamdb is not owned by Valve.

In my opinion FF7 was never over hyped, yes im a ff7 fanboy but for me its all about the memories. This game didnt dissapoint and if steam bring it ill be buying, especially if it comes with achievements

That's weird, why would SE put all the files on steam without releasing the games?
I'd love to play those games on my pc, more than ever now that my CD version got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and my psp isn't working anymore.

I was 25 when it came out in 1997, and I always thought it was, and still is, overhyped. :) I believe plenty of people just parrot what they hear from others, and may never actually have played the thing. It's not that it is a terrible game and I acknowledge its place in video gaming history, but the story was mediocre even by the standards of back then, and quite a bit of the popularity had to do with the visuals (and that is also what you highlight).

However, games are, in part, art -- and so there are no absolutes. There's no shame in liking or disliking a game, whether or not it is an opinion shared by many or a few.

Every single day I anticipate 10am PST, in the hope that FF7 will finally be released on steam. Then I always end up disappointed when it's not released. :(

To be honest I don't know why I'm anticipating it quite so much, as I have never played a Final Fantasy game (other than 2 or 3 hours of Crisis Core) and was only 5 when FF7 came out anyway!

I thought that too but the current version have been in the SE store 6 months by now and don't have the "international" logo
