for me I don't care if it's a dummy I just want steam to do something about it so they would not get the stuff they stolen if you know what I mean.
True but they did responded specifically about stuff I asked about, Im just hoping they actually do something the dummy account where all of my stuff are being kept. I dont care if I dont get it back I just want them to lock the account or something so they won't have access to it.
well they would know that this would not look right since I have no interaction with that person and just by looking at that persons account you can clearly tell it is suspicious to move more than a hundred Items. and those Items are recently bought in the steam market.
Having your friends mass report the alleged scammer isn't not an encouraging starting point especially if they weren't involved.
There isn't much Valve can do to prevent stuff getting stolen. After all, the one and only major issue is USERS, not with Steam itself.
Accounts do get locked after reporting, but as said they're usually hijacked accounts anyway. They get locked until the original owner reclaims the account.
Yes, I know you want the actual scammers to get punished. Learn a thing or two about jurisdictions and the like and you'll understand that this isn't as easy as you think. Steam can only lock and punish accounts, not people.
