I'm not saying that is what I am actually referring to though.
Bottom line, you don't know me outside of a few recent posts here, I've been helpful but never got any thanks or appreciation for it. And humans think they're so evolved and enlightened, yet they're the only species on this planet with weapons of mass destruction.
Whataboutism is a bad argument someone makes when they get in trouble/caught/whatever. Instead of focusing on what they've done and how to better the circumstances, they point and go "WHAT ABOUT THEM!"
Whataboutism.
It's a tool a lot of politicians and other shady people use nonstop to muddy the waters and de-focus issues about their conduct.

In this day and age, it doesn't matter whatever you do. What matter is appearances. And on a private site on the internet like this one, you're going to get the short end of the stick everytime if you get reported by someone.
It doesn't matter if you're right. It doesn't matter if others do the same thing as you. What matter is that Valve need to look like they are doing something when someone get called out.
