I've tried them with worms armageddon and all works great, no keyboard or mouse neede what soever.
how is the online community? still people playing or is it a wasteland?
Edit - Just thought of something else. If you're unsure if the game you're looking at on Steam has good controller support then check the wiki page for each game. Wikipedia is normally quite good at listing all the formats that games have been released on but the Steam Store also has an indicator of if the game is able to support controllers.
All three games are really good, if you like platformers. (Infact, I think most platformers without a controller are really difficult.)
