Why would they be using a third-party website? It makes no sense at all!

Anyone claiming to offer Steam support through Discord or any other platform which is not Steam is trying to scam you. Do not engage with this user, report and then block them. Say nothing!

They can assist recovering an account, especially when providing what they ask you for to verify ownership of the account.

You must be logged out of all accounts to start the account recovery process.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

No, Nobody from Steam Support will ever contact you through Discord or other platforms.

You can safely ignore anybody pretending to be Steam Support.
You can also block and report them on Discord if you want to.

In general what they do if there's something serious with the account is lock your account with the message to contact support by their own ticket system
