To do a test on just the drive itself which want to do test on just SSD you use CrystalDiskMark run the test, then post in imagur, or upload as artwork on steam, then share URL link to it.
https://crystalmark.info/en/download/
For CrystalDiskInfo you use that to tell you if there any problems with the drive, it would show you problem areas in red.
Samsung is not doing such, it's the scammers themselves on ebay, wish, amazon, and so on you have to watch out for as what they do is either buy bulk shells of SSD, and put in knockoffs ssd into them, or using a board with SD cards on the adapter on it, where has fake storage size, and fake performance to try trick people thinking they have real one, only way to test it is by using software that fills the drive, and test performance by large read and writes that goes beyond what SD card, or knockoff SSD can do as you know right away where things freeze, fail, or performance drop to nearly 99% basically.
If you ever gotten a fake product, you have to file it with support if it been within 30 days from site you bought it from, and they should refund, or send you a new one to resolve the problem, but note that credit card company only protect from fruad upto 120 days so best not to wait to last day of anything no idea why anyone wait until last day but makes things simpler, and easier by not waiting on it.
Anyways do test the SSD from link I provided using CrystalDiskMark.

the write MB/s as follows for tests

491.39
195.21

1st drop down set to 5, 2nd drop down is set to 1GiB, 3rd drop down is set to your SSD, and last one is set to MB/s correct?
For read that god awful, like that REALLY bad, for writes that actually normal performance of SSD, but that doesn't explain why read so low, so make sure that you have NOTHING running in background, no video running, no downloading, no updates of anything, and do test again just to make sure read is correct, if it is ramining that slow then there a major problem. I tell you what to do next after your 2nd test on this.

Then I want you to open Command console by pressing windows key + R to open run command type in cmd in the command console want you to enter each one at a time, you will need to restart PC for things to take affect.
Once done this be last test, run CrystalDiskMark once more do the same test, if it gives same low read speeds, contact amazon and get a replacement, or money back if this was within last 30 days you bought it from amazon, or have protection plan with amazon that can go longer.
