Steam unlock? What?

It is a scam. Anything related to Steam doesn't need to download anything. It'll do stuff through the client.

Do not download the file or if you have already downloaded it, do not run it. This is how people lose their accounts.

Mediafire is a hosting website, nothing wrong with that. BUT the file they are trying to get you download via this host is most likely (if not 100%) malicious.

DON'T DOWNLOAD IT

:D

Came across a site that told me the website was very new.. so i think it's a scam.. if it was legit it would be not flagged as new and 10% trustworthy..

:surprise:WARNING - DON'T USE !!!
... after collect 10 ref clicks you will receive half serial code (:B1:), next you must choose 1 of 3 options. Each way follow to diffrent website where you must first sign up with your personal information and optional buy something with your card or download application (with permission to check your internet activity).

SCAM...

Was it a "Steam Guard" file?

That is definitely a scam.

There is no such thing as a Steam Guard program to run. It is entirely server-side, as far as I know.

tried it, they made it so that it is a pyramid scheme. Once you get enough clicks it brings you to a string of surveys that never end. They make money through these surveys, and bam, they're off....
Quite smart.
