Remember that comment I made about a brick wall and trying to get your fist through it? You're doing a really good job of that right now.
Also, what kind of rock do you want, marble or granite?
It's just lazy, entitled kiddies and idiots whining about things they don't understand.
I don't have the know-how of trading or a lot of friends. I just play games and talk about games. You can get this stuff for free, but I don't see the purpose in investing the energy into something so complex and unpredictable, more so than any game I've ever played. To participate in Valve's once a year events that I could participate in before just fine?
And no, I don't expect Valve to hand out free stuff. I have a lot of games because I'm here to play games. An event that rewards gamers would be excellent.
That person will pay 64 bucks for CSGO.
Can confirm. I have been here 11 years (badge to prove it) and I am Steam lvl 22 with a couple different badges and whatnot, nothing fancy. I simply didn't get into the whole trading thing like so many did. I have Steam to play games and play with friends. Sure, I crafted some badges and played around in the market to test the waters now and then but not like most people have. I did sell an unusual TF2 hate for almost $70 last year so that was kinda cool.
Personally I have zero desire to participate in the gem thing. It just doesn't make sense and its not logical. People are going insane over it right now. Here I am just waiting for the actual Steam Winter Sale (or whatever their gonna call it this year).
I suppose people do their own thing and I am cool with that. I just see Steam as a gaming thing and not a place like Ebay. Oh well, call me old I guess............
Steam is NOT the "real world". Its a gaming community with millions of customers; millions of which cannot participate in the event. It doesn't get simpler than that.
Relax, ease off your aggro - you say you don't care what others think so why still respond like its your job? [/quote]
Stop responding with stupid ♥♥♥♥ and i will stop responding with facts to you but you won't stop.
If these *millions* of people can't afford their hobby, that neither my fault nor Valve's fault, so why make that comment, why complain if thats on you that you can't afford games.
This is not a new event, they have been doing this type of event for a while now, nice try though. I'm going to assume you are one of but many whiners every time Summer and Winter sales comes around and Valve starts these meta games.
Are you this serious over video games? I suggest you get out more often then?
You didn't answer my question.
How is it unfair to give everyone a chance to win something? How is that being entitled?
If a store is having a "community event" would you not expect to have just as much a chance to win as everyone else, not just the people who spent the most money?
Thats pretty hilarious coming from you as you've been on the dot commenting on every single post you don't like, at least in this thread, for several hours now. I'm actually playing a game and poking around every several minutes because you're replying to people that fast.
I did, you obviously cannot afford money to participate so i am suggesting we hand out trophies to everyone to make them feel special.
And i am doing stuff as well, like playing the auction event Valve has so kindly set up for people like me! Nice try though, try again.
At this point I'm just making fun of him. Its the only thing you can do with someone like this guy; hes like a parrot with how he spouts 'CHILDREN WANTING FREE GAMES!' at everybody, repeatedly, no matter what they say unless they agree with him.
Also he never answered what kind of rock he wants for me to get him so he can keep his head full of them.
