Fantasy RTS to reccommend?

On or off steam, anyone know of any good, new fantasy RTS games?
Used to love playing games like LOTR:BFME, Armies of Exigo, Warcraft 3 etc, but it seems like its a dying genre, figured send a line out incase anyone has noticed any new ones out there on the great wide web. Realistic themed medieval RTs games like Rome 2, or Crusaders I'm honestly sick of, need some orcs and dragons! xD

Old thread, but it keeps being bumped every so often, heres the list so far(as the..."market" for fantasy RTS games has proven to be pretty stagnant over the years, this lists includes older games as well just in case anyone looking hasn't heard of, or tried them yet), hope this helps anyone else trying to scratch that itch:

My favourite part though is something like Armies of Exigo is considered archaic and dated...yet turn based crap like Might and Magic is still being developed/bought and wanted by people? The ♥♥♥♥, who is making these calls? lol ♥♥♥♥ TURN BASED GO REAL TIME ITS 2015 FFS LOLOLOL

Don't know any really, you can count RTS by fingers on one hand.

Grey Goo, SC2 expansion, TW Attila, TW Arena, Call to Arms, and Act of Aggresion are just five new RTS games for 2015 lol. Its not the RTS genre Im curious about , just Fantasy RTS.

Edit: Even this last little while hasn't been terrible for RTS either: still playing CoH2, Dawn of War 2, SoaSE, Rome 2, and Wargame:Red Dragon on a shifting basis; its just stricly talking about Fantasy themed ones, we had this golden age around the time Warcraft 3 came out, and now even "The Legend" has taken a knee to one of its mods in popularity lol.

In other news, not fantasy still, but SunAge: Battle for Elysium is one old school RTS game that isn't a scam, AND is actually a freaking sweet game too. Its sastified my nostalgia lust for the last couple days even lol

Battle for Middle Earth 2 is probably one of the best high fantasy RTS games ever made. Unfortunately, since the rights were bought out, the game is no longer supported and now the game itself goes for a few hundred on Amazon with the Lich King expansion.

hmm, I have been looking for the same thing, and this has been one of the best threads Ive found... how sad. I really wish someone would make a good quality high-fantasy rts for the modern age. thanks for the links though :D

It is funny, since I posted this thread I've slowly come to the experience with gaming/computers and attitude that I may as well start my own greenlight project xD Don't even care if I lose money and time, FFS at least finally be a decent modern offering for all of us old timers to enjoy xD
