battlefield hardline or arma 3?

so i am really interrested in these 2 games, it both looks fun but i just cant choose between them..

i play solo most of the time solo.

If you want a solo game and a good multiplayer game with tons of depth. Arma 3 is the way to go. Get a random mission mod and you will find a game that is in a league of its own in terms of tactical combat. AI is a bit weak but there is just more game there than any Battlefield. Not to mention more ways to play it. However, be prepared to use the workshop or other mod sites to get the most out of it.

I wouldn't go for Hardline but I also wouldn't go Arma 3.

Battlefield 4 is far more fun than both of them and feels a lot better gameplay wise. I tried Arma 3 during a free weekend but it was just poor and I do like those type of shooters from time to time.

Plenty of ways to play Battlefield 4 too.

You better have a seriously powerful PC if you're gonna take on Arma III.

One thing to stress is that Arma 3 practically relies on modding for the best parts of the game. Without mods the game can be seen as pretty weak. Yea, a powerful computer is also best for Arma 3. If you want a smoother game out of the box, Battlefield is definitely the way to go. Arma is almost more of a combat sandbox more than a game. It is a pretty niche game, if you like Arma though, you can play it for years.

Arma III is content-laden and very enjoyable. Battlefield Hardline is a half-baked spin-off of Battlefield 4 that fails to excel the franchise and is in some ways a massive step backwards. It's also far too expensive and isn't of the standard you'd expect a standalone Battlefield game to be.

I'd definitely go for Arma III or if Battlefield really interests you; BF4 is in very good shape now and offers a grand experience with a huge community still.
