Survival/Crafting/Sandbox : The Early American Frontier please.

With the current huge interest in survival/sandbox games and advanced PC technology I belive a game based on the early pioneering settlers of the American Frontier would be welcomed with open arms.
This period has so much to offer the survival/sandbox community. A vast untamed wilderness, native tribes, hunting, fishing, trapping for furs etc. As for crafting, well virtually everything that was used was either crafted by the settlers themselves or traded.
Playing from the Native American perspective would also be a fantastic experience, you still have all survival aspects such as hunting, crafting shelter, clothing etc but from a different angle. Plus of course the deep tribal traditions, ceremonies etc that would add a new depth to game play.
Add to this the friction caused by settlers encroaching on Native American lands and the resulting skirmishes, retaliatory attacks and you have a sure winner game if done right.

also I want to see peoples heads explode when someone makes a survialist game but there are zero weapons in the game (not speaking to your idea directly just generally)
