In all seriousness, though, Rollercoaster Tycoon has long been regarded as a great tycoon game series. While it is quite old, Bullfrog Entertainment's Theme Park game and its sequels were amazingly awesome. I've heard good things about Zoo Park and Railroad Tycoon, although I haven't played them.
There are tons of good simulation games outside of the various Tycoon-titled games, too. For example, there is Prison Tycoon, which is regarded as a mixed bag (most criticisms seem to focus on game-breaking bugs and glitches), and there is Prison Architect, which is still in Alpha (available on Steam via Early Access) and is a bit different, but still very much a building and management sim. (Introversion has said the goal of Prison Architect was to recreate the kind of management sims that Bullfrog did so well)
-edit- here are links to the titles I talked about.
-edit-edit- The link for Prison Tycoon 4 shows a bundle of sim games, but you can buy PT4 by itself, if you really want to. I would recommend Prison Architect instead, though. Even though PA is in alpha, it is a very playable game that is surprising feature-rich for Early Access.

Then again, that's also why the gameplay of the RollerCoaster Tycoon games for example was so good. And 'Prison Architect' has really been the new replacement of that game to me. I could still start up either of the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games today and enjoy it, but 'Prison Architect' is sort of the modern equivalent (without it being turned into "realistic" 3D-graphics and so on). It (and its developers) really has good gameplay in the first place. And it's coming together really nicely as well, because the developers are looking closely at what makes and breaks the game (and also what their customers want and use), and they're updating it on a good discipline. I'd highly recommend checking it out.
