Activation Code issue
I have bought football manager 2015 off ebay. As you can assume that the previous user activated the activation code. Is there a way that the previous user can uninstall the game on his account and then the code will work on my steam account? Any advice would be great.

No, once a user adds a game to their Library it is there forever. As far as advice, go back and file a claim with eBay.

Sorry OP, the game is tied to his account forever. Never buy used PC games from Ebay, its a scam OP.

Did you only get the CD key or did you get the retail box ? If you got the retail box with the CD key inside and a recipt, then write to support and they may be able to help you. Otherwise complain to Ebay......

Because I was being tight and wanted it as cheap as possible. I will get on and do that. It was in the plastic wrapper when I came in the post so i didnt know that another user was linked to it. Thank you
