Well, a music artist isn't a "What" but a "Who" and the world will always be split in half.
Meaning, half the world will agree with you while the other half will not. So, you can't possibly know if "Everyone" actually hates the artist you like, since yeah, there will be others who like what you like and like who you like etc.
This one.
ive been sat less than 8ft away from the DJ box in one club in the wheelie users/disabled section,i coud clearly see 4 pioneer controlers, monitor speakers, club speakers with massive bass bins the lot and ive noticed the sync buttons were not turned on,on the controllers, which means he was not syncing.his club sets are quite simply stunning and nothing like what hes doing for radio1 on fridays or big events like creamfields, theres a real sense of tribalism and closeness in a smallish capacity club.
i think people just dont want to see someone they dislike do well. i went with 3 suport staff to watch him DJ for my birthday in camden, london this year in a super sweet old theater/night club called KOKO; ive never heard a set like it, nor seen a crowd like it. he is the best DJ in my eyes.
though i do see newer DJ groups & singular DJs like kleinemusik, ARTBAT and ESSEL as being the newer bleeding edge of DJing, just check some of there sets out on youtube and toolroom radio (sometimes toolroom will do live streams, shes done loads).
