Game overlay

Hey guys i need som help. Since i installed Schedule 1 my Steam game overlay keeps popping up when i press shift to sprint. Ofcourse i have searched the web for answers but did not find any helpful ones. I tried disabling it in Properties of the game and also in the Steam settings but it did not help. now i cant game anymore cus my gf says i get too mad at the overlay popping up. Could you pls help me cus i just want to game in peace without wanting to hit my sreen cus of it.

Honestly, why are you so mad at the overlay? I use it all the time in my game and I play cs2. To each his own but try
Binding it to a button you never hit accidentally like f10 or something

My husband had this problem too with shift pressed to sprint and each time steam overlay pop.
I find on spanish forum someone who said : "If you go to Discord, settings and scroll down, you will see the game overlay option and there you can turn it off." And overlay steam stop popping now when you press shift, i hope that will help you :)

You should tell Discord about this specific setting conflicting with Steam.
