Why is steam letting some people abuse their moderating power?

So i got banned with this text
" You have been permanently banned from the Assassin's Creed Shadows Hub.
You were banned by a Assassin's Creed Shadows developer.
Reason: "Trolling/Baiting""

All i did was saying Ubisoft is done because this game ( referring to Assassin creed shadow ) will be a huge flop

How is that trolling or baiting?

Its a fact ... youtube is full with videos documenting the downfall , how bad the game is and how bad it is doing

Banning the truth won't get you anywhere, reality will always knock on the door you can't hide from it forever.

This is truth. Valve do not admit that they are problem for abusing power of moderation.

Well that depends some devs opt to moderate themselves other games just opt for STEAM general moderation.

ohh i didn't know that , i assumed steam controls it and simply doesn't know what some people do with their moderating power .
But if a gaming company controls a forum and won't let criticism be posted, well that says alot.

If you go from game hub to game hub as a non-owner of games to be involved in what's considered "culture war", it shouldn't be a surprise when one or more hubs take action.

It's likely an office worker somewhat involved in the game for the company that made the game, as it most likely says the ban was applied by the Developer or Hub Moderator, which are not Steams moderators.

They know, and they will generally only step in if a Developer crosses the line. But if they go to see people doing the same thing in numerous hubs then complaining about it, chances are they'll do nothing.

It's also not criticism, nor constructive, nor useful to anyone, so to that end it's also considered ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, which guess what? is also banned.

Im not defending Ubislop here, they've trashed enough of their franchises and deserve all the hate they get, but don't act surprised they ban you for trash talking. All the other game hubs will ban you for this too.
