SteamLink cable network flickering.
Hi everyone!

I haven't been able to find a solution to my problem, so I'm turning to you as a last resort. The Steam Link app on my TV Box used to work perfectly, but now it's not working properly.

Based on the symptoms, I'd say it's constantly reconnecting to the network. I'm running a fresh Windows 11 with an updated Geforce 2080. The TV box and Steam Link are also up-to-date. The connection is wired, with a reported speed of 100 Mbps according to Steam Link.

I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and font scaling, but it didn't help. I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have experience with a similar issue?

Did you find a solution?
Steam Support also refused to help, citing hardware diversity. I don't rule out the possibility that it might be due to financial considerations. But it could also be that the Box is faulty. They are not willing to help either. I guess there are no experts working on either side...
not sure the technicality of the connection, does the tv connect to the steam box, and then that to the router? you can just reset the router and modem by powering them down, did you try that yet.
theres a chance that you bumped it hard enough to remove the heatsink from the inner cpu of the steam box, look up a disassembly video. i had a similar powerdown/powerup or networkloss problem with an old cabel modem and it had its arm processor's heatsink bumped off of its thermal paste clay (dried) and the bar that held it snapped off. thats a possibility. device prioritiziation in the router as well could be responsible, hold down the routers reset button or factory reset it in the settings for it. get it your gateway by WINKEY+R,CMD,IPCONFIG
connect to that in browser and begin conducting an investigation, could be as simple as a port forward as well or another device using the issued dhcp ip, so 192.168.1.123 and the other computer also has this as well, can be edited in adapter settings, winkey+r,
ncpa.cpl
MeKLIN, thank you for your help, but unfortunately, I haven't made any progress. The device hasn't been overloaded; I'm emulating a PlayStation on it, so it should handle that as well. I have set up port forwarding on the router, but it didn't solve the problem. I have also gone through the possible filters in the router settings, but found nothing. This issue started after a specific update, but I can't find the error with any debug reader. The network is supposedly stable, with speeds of 95-100 Mbps, the hardware is strong, updates are up to date, and it worked fine before.
