Created own group. Need some help, please?

As stated above, started own group. What is the difference between, starting new discussion and a forum? My first posting is almost 7 pages long, using Notepad, made (parts 1-21). Can someone please help me out? Thank you in advance.

Starting a discussion ist just making a discussion post in the group.
Starting a forum means you create a subforum inside the group where you can discuss specific topics or make announcements.

So basically like a mini version of the Steam forums.
So if you want to split your group discussion up into different categories you can create them there with the "start forum" option.
Honestly, unless your group has a lot of members i would keep it without subforums and just have one main page with discussion posts.
You can always create sub forums later.

Thank you for responding. So if I understand you correctly? Just start a discussion with Title and post all Parts 1-21, right? I post the last, 21 first, so they will be in order? Thanks Ogami.

If its just one long post it makes more sense to post part 1, then post part 2 as answer to it and so on.
That way you only have 1 thread with all 21 parts in order instead of 21 one post threads.

Just post first part, then the rest via the answer or response to said statement via creates all in one thread. I did not do that but can change it now. OK first statement, then the rest as answers to said first post. I got you and again thanks. Love your profile page.
