What does it take for a game to get a "Negative" rating?

Just saw a game with only 43% positive reviews as being listed as "Mixed".

So... if more than half of the people rating the game negatively isn't enough, what does it take?

95 - 99% : Overhwelmingly Positive
94 - 80% : Very Positive
80 - 99% + few reviews: Positive
70 - 79% : Mostly Positive
40 - 69% : Mixed
20? - 39% : Mostly Negative
0 - 39% + rew reviews: Negative
0 - 19% : Very Negative
0 - 19% + many reviews: Overwhelmingly Negative

Or roughly in that range. It's hard to find concrete numbers out there.

I think this is pretty close, if not on-par. I've never seen a Very Negative or Overwhelmingly Negative game to confirm the lower end though.

Pretty much. Also the quantity of games sold also matters - some games have 10 reviews on record; all thumbs up but only have a 'postitive' rating - I don't know what the threshold is regarding the numbers but certainly the percentages aren't far off.
