"Disc Write Error" when downloading red dead redemption 2
Pc Build:
hard drives: team group 1tb ssd, wild blue 3tb hdd, wild blue 2tb hdd, wild blue 1tb hdd, kin spec 4tb ssd
mother board: Asus Tuff gaming b-450 pro
CPU: Amd Ryzen 7 3800 8 core
memory: 64gb ddr4 3200
gpu: Asus 4070ti 16gb gddr6
psu: 1000 watt Rosewill 80+ gold
case: Fractical Design

OK here is my problem. my 4tb ssd has been having issues just this ssd, before i had a issue where steam couldnt find my games i had on it, to fix that i formatted the drive to NTFS wiped everything, then reinstalled all of my games on it. NOW with some recent sales i have bought a few more games and downloaded those games onto this 4tb ssd, all games downloaded EXCEPT Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. with rdr1 and 2 i got a disc write error. I have 1tb of space left on the 4tb ssd and i am currently downloading them to the 3tb hdd which only has 250gb left so its going to be close. i am going to try to download them to that drive then move them over to the 4tb ssd. BUT if any one knows how to fix this or whats going on please let me know!

Try asking in the games own forum. This is a steam related sub-forum.
Well you've definitely made it confusing to understand
it sounds like you can't do partial installation, it needs to go all the way through without interference during installation.
