Ubisoft connect
This is doing my head in. I have a few Ubisoft titles that I've purchased over the years. Recently, my young son used my credit card to buy in game credits without my knowledge (I have since put controls in place)..I contacted Steam and they offered, as a one time thing, to refund them to me. Fast forward a week and Ubisoft has banned my account for fraud. I am unable to appeal as you need an account to open a ticket and I am locked out of mine.

This seems wrong to me, that games that I bought I no longer have access to. I have no interest in any of their online content so I don't have a need for Ubisoft connect.

Have other gamers had a similar experience and do you have any advice on where to go from here? Thanks.

In game credits are usually non-refundable. Are you sure Steam support allowed that refund?

:nkCool:
I don't now

You will need to find a way to contact them either with a new account or through their email.

You will have to see if they accept this refund and you needed to had contacted them if it was premium currency on their end.

Yep. Steam offered the refund to me which I received.
Regardless of reasons for the ban. Surely it's illegal for them to prevent me from using games that I bought with my money. Gamers should have these sort of rights protected.

They view what you did as a illegal chargeback more then likely as you did not go through them to get the refund and accounts can get locked like that.
