Why is G2A the worst "third party reseller" to obtain game keys from?
When it comes to trusting your own gut, whether wanting true honesty from the seller to obtain game keys for steam: Fanatical and Green Man are better off. I mean, have you ever bought anything from G2A before? I know that Eneba exists, but is that really the same as G2A in terms of it being a grey market?

That site has been known to look the other way when confronted over stolen or fake keys. Some developers have gone on record asking users to just steal their game rather than pay that site for a key.

And I'll admit I've gotten a few keys from it in the past when there was no other source. Sparingly that it is.

Because that site is a 'grey market' reseller. Those don't work with the developers in order to sell the licenses and are often the source of large-scale fraud and headaches for developers.

However this particular site has enough money as to buy itself good PR.

Most of the game key oriented scams I've seen, involve that site.

From selling already redeemed keys, to selling a region locked key as a global, to attempting to sell accounts with the game on them instead of a key if the desired game.

Why use resellers when you can use retailers https://isthereanydeal.com/

It's worth paying that little more rather than trying to get a game cheap and wondering if the key will eventually be revoked or even if the key works in the first place.

to be fair...I likely couldn't produce a TON of the individual game keys for games I've bought, including my first purchase. Could dig up the site I bought said key from however, and find out through there. Provided it wasn't a gifted game. I RARELY buy games themselves on Steam.

Use fanatical it's 10 times better, I did use one site before for delisted dlc(whch was a photo of a key on a box) I got lucky with that - not saying that anyone else will.

In my advise, get something on sale if you really want it, otherwise it will never be worth it.

So it's better to rob game developers?

Because it's a gray market and they resell keys that has been obtain in fraudulent ways and are not a certified/verified. You shouldn't buy anything there.

Many sellers on G2A provide invalid keys, and G2A consistently refuses to refund victims. Furthermore, the platform bans the accounts of those who file complaints.

The negative reviews left by scam victims all disappear, so stop trusting G2A's seller rating system. Many victims had their G2A accounts permanently frozen after filing disputes with their banks/PayPal, with the reason given as "unauthorized complaints
