Looking for Solid Co-op RPG's...recent ones.

Looking for solid Co-Op RPG suggestions..I've tried google, but let me start by saying this; Anyone that still includes Diablo 3 at the top of their list, is automatically discredited.

I actually love Diablo as a series, and 3 wasn't horrible, IMO. That being said, I do a google search almost twice a week, for "new" co-op RPG experiences..Every list is JUST about the same.

1. Diablo 3
2. Grim Dawn
3. Torchlight II
4. Warframe
5. Divinity: Original Sin 2
6. Divinity: Original Sin

Etc...it's always the same games, I've played them, they were good (except Torchlight, just really didn't like that one)..Are there any new-ish, fresh, co-op RPG experiences?

PREFERABLY, some form of action RPG, or "real-time" that was released within the last, say...3 years?

I LOVE the gameplay of the Souls series, and despite what anyone else says, co-op is a blast! I love games like Terraria, and Core-Keeper, as well..but those games have, in my opinion, very low staying power (Usually done with those games within 10-15 hours), and then we're left with a crapload of games that actually look decent...only, somehow...they're couch co-op only. (I get it, and think it's great to have, but the world is digital, our friends are online, and experiences are shared over the internet..MOSTLY)

Any suggestions?

Too bad you want recent ones specifically.

Diablo 2 with the Project Diablo 2 mod is great. Lot of stuff was added to make the quest for loot more varied at the end game. Plus, if you participate in the economy, bartering with members of this community is a blast.

If you can look past the isometric "3D" and sprites, you'll get an unforgettable experience out of it.

I currently play solo hardcore with plugy. I have no regrets.

I do, I'm not trying to be a jerk, at all...but Diablo III (for example) has been listed in almost every single "top co-op" game list, for the last 10 years...At this point, we've played it. Anyone who's willing...has played it.

I just don't think people looking for "Must Play" or "Recommended" co-op games, are looking for the same exact games, every year?

I actually LOVE D2, I own it on PS, and Switch, and have played the heck out of the remake. I'd love to say that it's a fresh experience, but it's not :( haha

Outward is pretty good in co-op.
Just be aware that its very hard.

There is also "The Ascent" a recent Cyberpunk Action RPG you can play in local and online co-op.

And there is "Wolcen" a action RPG in the vein of Diablo that got unfairly crapped on in my opinion for massive server problems at launch because the small indie studio did not expect the amount of players.

Its not perfect but i had a lot of fun with it. Solo and in co-op.
