Trine 1, Trine 2, Nidhogg, ...
Have a look at the right border of the games steampage. It might even say "local Coop" or something like this. Nidhogg for example lists "2 Player Local-Multiplayer" as one of its features.
Keep an eye on the gamepad support as well!
The "Trine" games have been mentioned already; "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled chicken" also has local coop. "Sega Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed", to my knowledge, even has up to 4-player splitscreen -- but I doubt it says "local coop" since a racing game is not usually "coop". Deathspank also has local coop, but the 2nd player only gets to play a "sidekick" character.
I also heard mentions that the Serious Sam games have local multiplayer. I don't know how good the controller support is, though -- and you might want to verify the claim, if you're interested in that.
I didn't buy them during the last sale because i wanted to be sure i could play with my gf, so i was just gonna buy it on ps3. fml. D';
Are you sure though??? You have lego games on steam?
Yes Serious Sam 3 has Split-Screen but is very demanding graphics-wise
The Cave -like Trine/2- can be played by up to 3 people onscreen
Lara Croft and the guardian of light has 2 player co-op. One plays Lara w/ guns & rope the other Totec w/ shield and spear.
