Who plays DDO? And what do yall have to say about it? I play Neverwinter and i like it alot so im downloading the original ddo and wonder how yall like it

Dungeons and Dragons Online I presume? It's ok. Most of the content is locked behind paywalls; I beat the original content when they still had subscription models going - it was a fun take on the game, although classes were not balanced at all. The narrated questing mechanic was pretty cool - you get a little audio description of whats going on from place to place.

Major issue: pretty much a hack and slash MMO. No worldbuilding, no politicking, no RP really - for something based on a game which spent time codifying rules for some of that it really falls flat. Magic system is also kinda bleh.
