On that note, having played Fallout 3, I can tell you that if you love the setting, the first two fallout games might please you. If it's the gameplay you love, though, be aware that the first two games are entirely different (though better, in my opinion).
left4dead 2 was free on xmas seems a waste to buy it at sticker price.
killing floor and defense grid would be my tips if you must waste it.
Fallout often goes for 7 bucks on steam... L4D2 goes for 5 bucks, when it's on sale. And they gave it away for free on Dec 25th (which I'm not really happy about, since it's a 4 player Co-op game. Trading Card values went south, as well.)
