EA Play subscription not showing in steam

Hi

I have succesfully linked my EA account with EA play with steam but it is not showing up on my steam while I am trying to install NFS unbound or buy with 10% discount for EA play for EAFC 24. Can someone help,is there any other step required apart from linking steam to the EA account

I have already checked that I have linked the correct EA and steam accounts

EA Play (EA) and EA Play (Steam) are seperate subscription services.

oh no that is sad and kinda doesnt make any sense...why would that be?

I got ea play through xbox game pass

You have to pay for EA Play through Steam if you want to launch the game via steam

Its osrt of pointless as EA Play on steam is actually a worse version of the 'vanilla' EA Play despite being the same price. Its sort of terrible that you're paying a premium for less stuff, just so you can launch the game on Steam, so it can launch EA Desktop anyway.

If you got it through xbox game pass, you can launch EA games through the xbox app. though as I said in my previous post, all that really does is launch the EA Desktop app anyway to do the actual install.
