you'll need to create a new ubisoft account, I believe you can still play your purchased games that are on steam but I recommend to do research

try to play
If your Ubisoft account that was linked to Steam was deleted, you need to contact their support and link a new account to Steam.

:nkCool:
steam games won't work on new ubisoft account because your steam games are connected to that specific ubisoft account.i know because i have Far Cry 3 on my ubisoft account but i lost complete access to that account due to hacking and i created a new ubisoft account, but no matter how many accounts i created i still can't play Far Cry 3 because it is connected to my lost account.Or you can create a new steam and ubisoft account and purchase the games all over, which won't be the best option.

Make sure you are using the correct account as ubisoft does not close down inactive accounts that have purchased games on them.
Considering that Ubicrap revoked your licenses, if a game tied to that account still technically works, actually running it qualifies as piracy from legal perspective. In which case, modifying non-working ones to work changes nothing, you have no license either way.

How much you care is up to you.
Pretty sure Ubisoft gave warning several months before hand warning users with Ubisoft accounts, that if it has gone unused for longer than so many years that the account would be deleted.

I remember getting this email, but I only played a free game, so I didn't care if I lost the account.

Pretty sure all you would have had to do is log into the account to prevent your account from being deleted.

“Accounts that include purchased PC games are not eligible for deletion,”

I doubt the account got deleted. But anyway, you'll need to link a new one and contact Ubi.

Company's shouldn't be able to delete account that people brought games through. this should be illegal and punishment should be death.
They don't as ubisoft has never shut down accounts with games you have paid for.

Sounds more like the OP got a scam email
Closure of inactive Ubisoft accounts

In compliance with Data Privacy Regulations and our Terms of Use, inactive Ubisoft accounts may be closed after long periods of inactivity.

An account will only be closed if it meets all the following criteria:

The account has not been logged into within the last four years.
The account is not associated with a Ubisoft child account, or a Ubisoft teen account.
The account is not linked to any game ownership (including games that have never been launched), or any active subscriptions.
The account is not linked to any purchased or redeemed content.
The account does not have any gaming progression saved on it.

If an Ubisoft account meets the criteria, a notification of closure email will be sent to the email address linked to the account.
So in other words, people who created a Ubisoft account and then never did anything with it are the only ones who lost their account.

Even if you added a free to play game to your account, your account would have been safe.
Really depends on what games you have as not all Ubisoft games require account linking.

Did you actually buy a game and link it to the account or only play the free to play games?

They have taken my FREE games, like assassins creed syndicate, there when they gave it away, but due to inactivity they deleted it. But i have ubisoft games on my steam? will that cause a conflict?
This is a BIG BIG is issue with PC gaming having too my game clients you could just forget about them and difficult to manage. Cant they just put them all on steam geez. They deleted my FREE games. Consoles dont have this problem. Just a warning to everyone make sure you purchase atleast one game or else UBi will delete your account. Imagine this was an EPIC account you'd be FURIOUS!!!
