Error 0xc000007b on several games all o a sudden...Cannot play!

Ever since I installed Windows 10 last week I am having trouble launching half the games in my library. Half of them start but the other half does not. The ones that do not launch are Broken Age, Child of Light, Valiant Hearts, Outlast, and Life is Strange. The error I get is as follows: "The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close Application." Already tried launching directly from Steamapp folder. All games worked perfectly before my Win 10 upgrade. Thanks

Thanks for the input, SV. I actually tried all of those tips on the site and even a few more tips I found online with no luck. Still getting the error code. I might have to revert back to Windows 8.1 and see if it works. This all seemed to happen after upgrading to Win 10 last week. Frustrating.

Sorry you are having so much trouble, I have done 4 comps, 3 of them using Steam and haven't run into anything I couldn't figure out yet. It's been the most painless OS upgrade I've ever seen from MS.

Try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ as this is the most common issue (I had the same issue and it helped). Fingers crossed!

Thanks guys. I did reinstall MS Visual C++ along with the new Direct X and newest .NET framework (more solutions I found on YouTube). No luck on any of it. I reverted back to Windows 8.1 and all works fine now. Weirdest thing. It sucks because I really liked Win !0 and wanted to keep it but tried over a dozen fixes for my game issue to no avail. I'll stick with 8.1 for now.
