What games are worth buying during steam summer sale?

Like which games should i keep an eye on during the steam summer sale? And, is DayZ worth getting?

also games go more on sale as the sale goes on, since this is only the first day :) it goes until the 30th! i ended up getting more than i needed today but thats always how it works!

No. Metascore is a terrible way of judging the merit of a game. Metacritic uses a weird scale to convert reviewers scores into a value out of 100, and different reviewers have their scores weighted into the metascore differently.

OP: maybe if you gave us some background on what games you like it would help. My list of 'definitely buying' this sale is Minimum, Delver, Sins of a Dark Age, and Breath of Death/Cthulu double pack. But I have no idea how well those will cater to your tastes.

I usually check the Metascore, the customer reviews at the bottom, and the screenshots. Then wait for that magical 75% off. :)

DayZ is not worth it now, even on sale. Too many game breaking bugs and lacking features to play. If you're looking for a game similar, look at 7 Days to Die. It's only $13.74, prob the lowest it'll get.
