Even though Marrowind and Oblivion are for Windows XP and other OS's of Windows will they work on Windows 7 Premium or such? I was really wanting to get the games but when I saw the System requirements I was kind of Disapointed.

I bought them cause I was growing tired of Skyrim don't get me wrong I love Skyrim but it was getting a tad boring

You all have been so patient and I thank you trying to read them now. Its really aggrivating to buy something and have to go through all of this.

I can't argue with that, been there more times than I care to relate with various other games. It's always best to check with others who own the game and/or the people who put the game out to see if there's a fix. Sometimes there's even no official fix for a game breaking bug or issue, but some fan makes one that works and posts it. Good luck.

I am hoping I didn't wate over 44.00 on both I really would like to play them I am having assinine issues with Skyrim too crashing all the time

In defense of them, they are both older than windows 7 themselves, I can play both without issue on both of my windows 8.1 devices, and lastly your computer specs aren't too hot but if you can run Skyrim these should be fine).

@thehaydencampbell I am not sure how I got Oblivion to work, but I removed the entire game file out of the common folder and put it back into the steam common folder and now it works I played in both windowed and fullscreen mode. I can say I like Oblivion. How do you add friends on steam I would add you if I knew how.

You got it. You can see your friend list at the bottom right of Steam, and in these forums if someone is your friend they will have a little white person logo on their avatar before their user name. How long did Oblivion take you to fix it?

about 5 minutes but now its doing the same thing again, im not sure what is wrong with it now. oh well, Ill keep trying

Both Marrowind&Oblivion work just fine for me on Windows7.

Im not sure why it is not for me, I do know that when I try and play Oblivion the Icon on my task bar and stuff are bloown up as if they are being made to look 15 times larger
