Oh, Steam finally made it look like Reddit
My request has been considered. I was shocked by this update because I didn’t figure out where I should click. The interface resembles Reddit's. It is very heavily overloaded with all sorts of buttons and has a slow page loading speed and long waits (a code problem?). It was just necessary to make the application convenient and fast.

There's another problem, I can click on any tab. Let's say "Open profile" and Steam displays my account information and wallet. Is this a bug or a feature?

If you're logged into Steam, then any tabs you open in that same window that aren't private or container tabs(if you're using Firefox) will be logged into you account.

Are you talking about the SteamApp on mobile phones?
Because the base client has updated on PC in quite a while. Or at least no major changes.

It resembles nothing like Reddit and I have no trouble navigating the client or the mobile app.

Where are you trying to click where it says "Open Profile"?

This might be a PBKAC problem.

Steam's UI looks horribly dated but it's nowhere near as pitifully problematic as Reddit's newish ReactJS abomination.

Agree. Steam is mostly archaic but Reddit is a convoluted monstrosity.

The forums look nowhere near Reddit. They never have (which I am rather thankful for, the Reddit model does less to foster civil conversations than the thread flow here).

I'm not talking about the forum, but the interface of the Steam mobile application, which is very similar to the interface of Reddit.

To what extent? Reddit listing threads is rather similar to Steam listing threads by the merit of them both having threads. I'm really trying to understand what specifically is similar now that's not been before.

Note you're really really not describing whatever you think is going on. Just take a screenshot of whatever you hate and upload it as artwork to steam.

The steam authenticator app prety much has the same UI as like literally every other app on the planet. Its god the bottom row for specific feature selection, the upper right is your account selection, and the middle is all the content. This is like literally every app on the planet.

I didn't say a word about the Steam authenticator. What the hell did I just read?

Yes, I am talking about the SteamApp on mobile phones. Yes.

Just because you don't have problems doesn't mean others don't have them. I had problems with learning, with loading profiles, the application freezes when loading and began to slow down. Loads for a long time. And about the fact that the interface of the mobile application is similar to the interface of Reddit - a fact. Open Reddit on your phone and look at the icons below, open the Steam app on your phone and see the analogy. But there is nothing wrong with this. One thing is not clear to me: Why did they get angry at my question about the similarity of Steam and Reddit?
