If I delete a review, can I upload a new one?
I posted a review years ago that I am realizing I'm sorely mistaken on. I want to delete my review and upload a totally different review now, but I wanted to make sure if I deleted my current one, I'd be able to upload a new one. The developers actions, over the years hasn't exactly proven me wrong, but they have more than made up for their original sin. I want to give them a new review to reflect that.

Edit your original.

There are comments on it too. Is it kosher to go through and manually delete what other people said?

Plus there are awards on the review. I feel like it'd be looked at as a bait-and-switch if I just edit it.

I'm looking for a yes-or-no if this will work. Alternatives are appreciated but I think I need the original question answered.

Deleting reviews is generally frowned upon.

Just add an update note with the date at the top and then add the new review without deleting the older text.

It's best practice and it doesn't muck with comments and rewards. It's also better for the community since others can see how the game's evolved.

LOL I tried that, but I hit the maximum character quota. I have 2 characters left to work with if I add an update.

I really just need to know if I can, indeed, just upload a new review after deleting the old one.

I don't think you can delete a review once youi

Same difference. I don't think you actually can delete a review so much as just hide it.
TGhough if you're really sure, try it out.

Thanks for the help all. I'll go ahead and delete it and try my luck. The developer has really changed my mind in recent years, so it's not fair to keep my review up after all their hard work.

Thank you! That's the exact answer I was looking for.

I'd go through and manuelly delete toxic yucking my yum or toxic counter pointing comments on my reviews, though... I dont post them for people to comment so usually I just check no commenting.

but lets say I have comments open, if someone comes in and starts trying to attack my character as a method to invalidate my review... or they are trying to tell me im stupid because I think 3 split menus that drop down into 5 split menus that each drop down into more split menus including for combat actions in a real time game is a terrible design feature then ya. Imma delete those comments. I dont even care if people thing its reprehensible or unethical or some nonsense. I'll delete their comments too with some kthnxbai energy right quick.

The only time I dont delete stuff is when there is a serious debate going on, I dont delete what I say, I try not to edit, and I what I can to archive what others are saying. Usually I am a pretty sound debater though so normally im not concerned about what ive said and in the end it helps me more than hurts to two way archive it.
